Our Vision

To be a family of God, Living in His presence, empowered by His Spirit, impacting our community and beyond.

Our Mission

At Community Church of Mount Currie we feel called
To encourage and grow people in the Lord through family gatherings around church, life groups, camps and conferences. We live to see transformation through promoting the pressing into extravagant praise and intimate worship, studying and living the Word of God, praying expectantly, striving for and releasing the Gifts and presence of the Holy Spirit, and pouring out time for hospitality and fellowship.
We live from a place of peace and Joy, content in all circumstances because we know who we are and who’s we are! Called to be sons and daughters of an extravagantly loving and generous God, who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Time & Location

Our Sunday morning service starts at 09:30 with meet and greet around coffee and fellowship at 09:00. As a community that value relationship we invite you to join us before and after the service to share a cup of Tea or Coffee with us as we get to know one another.

Common Questions

We are working towards building the cultures mentioned below into the lives of all who fellowship here. (The cultures are not listed in any order of priority or value) Culture of Honour; Culture of family; Culture of Generosity; Culture of Joy and Hope; Culture of Risk and Faith; Culture of valuing His Presence; Culture of Grace and empowerment; Culture of the Prophetic; Culture of releasing the supernatural; Culture of salvation and righteousness; Culture of revelation and the word; Culture of the Goodness of God.
We believe in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit We believe in the reality and personality of Satan that he is not a fictional character, and that he has been defeated by Jesus on the cross. We believe the Lord Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and is both fully God and fully man. We believe in His sinless life, in His miracles, His death on a cross and His resurrection from the dead, and His personal appearance to his disciples.  We believe in His ascension into Heaven and in His personal return in power and glory. We believe that through the death and resurrection of Jesus, that He opened the door to personal communication to the Trinity, and to eternal life. We believe in the Creation, test and fall of man, as recorded in Genesis; his total depravity and inability to attain to divine righteousness apart from God.  We believe that for the salvation of the lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.  We believe in the necessity of Water Baptism for believers.  We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and that the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a separate and distinct experience subsequent to salvation, providing for life and service through the inducement of power, the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the restored gift ministries of the ascended Christ.  We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.  We believe in the necessity for all believers to celebrate the Lord’s Supper (Communion).  We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved to the resurrection of life and they that are lost to the resurrection of damnation.  We believe that the scriptures are God breathed, that they are infallible, that they are as relevant and true today as when written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
We strive for the Presence of God in all our gatherings by allowing the Holy Spirit to lead and direct, and giving space for praise and worship We place importance on the gathering of Believers both in life groups and Sunday Worship We place importance on family, community and fellowship around the Lord’s Table as well as socialising together. We place importance in meeting with others in the wider family by encouraging attendance to family camps, and conferences hosted by the local church, FMI and like-minded fellowships We encourage participation in prayer, personal growth (digging own wells), and walking in the gifts of the Holy Spirit We encourage contribution to the life of the church through servant hearts, participating in areas of need as per the Lords leading and the various skills and  gifting
